These terms apply to the TinyNote website, desktop and mobile software, and Pro purchased through the website or the Apple App Store. By using the site, downloading the software, or purchasing Pro, you agree to these terms.

1. Software and license

TinyNote’s core features are free.

Website edition: Pro is a one-time digital license; features, prices, and device limits are shown on the pricing page and checkout page. A website Pro license currently supports activation on up to three devices. Deactivate an old device before moving to a new one.

Apple App Store edition (Mac App Store / App Store): You can unlock Pro with a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment, billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. After purchase, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store account settings. The store edition does not use website license keys.

These terms do not change the open-source license that applies to TinyNote source code. This page governs the website’s commercial services, orders, and license delivery.

2. Fair use

Do not bypass, interfere with, or disrupt license checks, payments, the website, or other users’ normal use. Do not use stolen, forged, or unauthorized license keys.

3. Your content and data

You are responsible for notes you create, import, sync, or back up. Confirm the target content before deleting, overwriting, syncing, or migrating it, and use local backups or Git sync when appropriate.

4. Updates

We may update software features, website content, and these terms. Material changes will be noted on the website or in the changelog. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.

5. Disclaimers and liability

TinyNote is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the software. Rights that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected.
