1. Local first

By default, TinyNote stores notes, attachments, and configuration in the location you choose. We do not proactively collect, read, or upload your note contents, file names, or local backups.

Content is sent to a third party only when you actively configure Git sync or another third-party service. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Website information

The website uses browser local storage for language and theme preferences, so your choices can be restored on a later visit. This preference data remains in your browser and is not automatically sent to TinyNote.

3. Purchases and licenses

TinyNote offers two purchase paths, depending on which edition you use:

Website download edition: When you buy Pro on the website, checkout and transaction information are processed by Dodo Payments. We use the information needed to complete an order, deliver a license, handle a refund, or provide order support, such as your purchase email, order identifier, and license status. Please also review the payment provider’s applicable privacy policy.

Apple App Store edition (Mac App Store / App Store): When you buy Pro in the app (subscription or one-time purchase), payment, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment card number or other Apple ID payment details. The app only uses Apple StoreKit to verify your purchase entitlement so it can unlock Pro and support Restore Purchases. Related transaction information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. Your control

You can delete local notes, clear browser site data, or deactivate a device license in the website edition at any time. For the App Store edition, manage subscriptions and purchases in your Apple ID settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data related to order support, contact tinynote-app@wu2kong.com.

5. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here with its last-updated date.
